I hope you’re all having a great day!! I am! Today Iit’s not just me, remember when I did the Never Have I Ever Blogging Edition, well today I have a special guest with me who’s gonna play!
I have Jess with me *virtually* to play the Never Have I Ever blogging Edition!! Everyone go follow her blawg!!!! 😝
I’m so excited!!!!! Whohoo!! 🎉 🎉 Wish you luck, Jess!!
She’s gonna be answering my Never Have I Ever questions by saying NEVER or HAVE and he’s gonna give an explanation to some of them of why or why she didn’t do those things. Those are the rules.
Anyway, let’s start!
Never Have I Ever Blogging Edition with Jess:
Never Have I Ever…
Not replied to a comment intentionally
When you guys comment on my posts, I always reply the first time but if the conversation naturally ends after that, I won’t force more interaction!
Liked a post you didn’t read
Sometimes, like Regina, I like a post that I tell myself I’ll come back to but there are just so many!
Commented on a post you didn’t read
Whenever I comment, I always like making a thoughtful and analytical comment to continue the conversation that the writer started… Or to add some joy to the writer’s day by telling them how much I appreciate their work 🙂
Wrote a hate comment
There is no excuse for writing a hate comment – if you have an opinion that differs from that of the writer, you can still express them respectfully. For example, I read a ‘pro-life’ post on abortion and since I am pro-choice, I expressed my views in a respectful way backed up with scientific evidence. Even when the debate got heated when others got involved, I thanked the writer for initiating an important conversation.
Dissed a family member on your blog
Unless you count yours truly (I make fun of myself all the time haha) I haven’t bad-mouthed someone on my blog… Yet 😉
Dissed another blogger on your blog
I suppose I’m lucky that I have such a supportive community on my blog – it’s a place of positivity and growth, not of rivalry. Other bloggers’ mistakes and bad decisions are none of my business.
Dissed a friend on your blog
I’ve only ever pulled shameless plugs for my friends, but I haven’t dissed a friend yet. Only told some funny anonymous stories about them 😛
I usually follow back (unless I missed your follow…) but I don’t keep track of who I’m following and who I’m not following so if someone unfollowed me I don’t usually know. I have better things to do than unfollow people!
Promoted your blog on other blogs in the comments
Only if it’s relevant – I don’t ever leave cut-and-paste comments on other people’s blogs telling them to check out my blog/recent post etc. However, if I’ve written something I think they’ll find valuable, I will link to it and it’s up to the blog owner if they want to keep the link 🙂
Deleted a published post
Once a published post is out, it confuses people if it disappears. I do accidentally publish unfinished posts (doesn’t help that WordPress keeps changing its layout!) so I just revert them to drafts and finish them off before republishing them.
Deleted a draft
Sometimes I think it’s a good idea to write something… But then I come back to it a few days later and it just doesn’t work or I don’t find it interesting anymore so I delete it.
Deleted a comment of yours
If it’s worth replying to, it’s worth keeping. Simple as that.
Deleted someone else’s comment
Mostly because they’re spam. I’ve also had a comment that just said ‘pls follow me’ which is a) desperate and b) doesn’t add value to my community so I didn’t want it in my comments. I’m not ashamed of this!
Not done a tag/award you were tagged for
I always do the tag/awards I’m nominated for but usually, I have a huge backlog of them… Sorry if I haven’t done yours yet, I will get round to it!
Read a post and not liked it
It’s simple to just click ‘like’ at the bottom of posts – if I’ve read a post, I will also usually leave a comment unless there are already loads of comments that have said what I wanted to say, in which case I will like those comments too if possible.
Forgotten your password
I just don’t remember passwords – it’s actually safer if your passwords are hard to remember because hackers can’t guess them as easily!
Forgotten your blog address
I mean, it’s pretty hard to forget your blog address… You chose it, right?
Called a blogger another name
If I can’t remember a blogger’s name, I will go onto their blog to find out. Simple!
Accidentally left your account without having logged out
I just leave my account logged in anyway – my computer is private and only I use it! I doubt anyone would want to hack into my account, it’s not that interesting…
Have envied another blogger
But like Regina, I totally just go ‘OMG I love that theme’ or ‘wish I could have so many dedicated followers’ etc… It motivates me to keep blogging too!
HAVE: 8 NEVER: 12
Congratulations Jess!! You didn’t do more things than me!! You and RAK are so far winning me!
And that’s a wrap!! Thank you so much to Jess for wanting to take part, it makes me so so happy!!!
