How I Schedule My Posts!!

How’s life treatin’ y’all? I hope good! It’s so weird I’m making 2 blogposts about blogging in a week but yeah, I’m doing it! So unless you haven’t read the title of this post, today we’ll be talking about…

SCHEDULES

Yeah, sounds scary, but it’s not that type of schedule. It’s blog posting schedules!!!! 😊😊 Honestly, just thinking about school or work schedules can make anyone feel very pushed!!

Other than that, I have nothing more to say as an intro, so let’s just begin!!

How I Schedule My Posts:

You must know though that I’ve been using this method for only 2 months so it’s pretty new. But I’m liking it as there’s not much to it. 😜

So I’ve mentioned some posts ago in my Desk Tour post that I have a blogging notebook where I write everything, from post ideas to schedules and social media ideas. Anyway, these are the schedules I’ve made so far:

And because there’s so many colors and stuff, you may think it’s very complex. It’s not.

So what I do is to draw the days of the week (I don’t separate weekends from the rest cause it’s the same to me) and I obviously write the number of each day.

I mark with diagonal colors lines the days that I have to post. I write each post on a different color, sometimes I repeat them but it doesn’t matter, I just do it to make it more colorful. To remember what posts I had to post, I write literally anywhere in the same page, the name of the post (I circle it and paint it in the same color to remember it was that post). If turns out I’m not posting that post that day and I’m changing it to an other day, or I just swap dates, I make back arrows to indicate it cause I’m lazy. 😅😅

As days go by, I cross them with diagonal lines, somehow perpendicular to the ones I draw to indicate posting days, just like anyone does! 😊

I also make discontinuous lines on the Wednesday and Sunday rows to remind myself those are the posting days (yeah, now I’m trying to post every Wednesday and Sunday) except for exmaple this Halloween, which was on a Tuesday or holidays (in which I post one day, one day off or everyday if I can).

On the last picture, you wan see I wrote “Start of Blogmas” above December 1st, I write those things here and there depending on what season it is.

See? It was simple! 🙃

Actually, when I do exam schedules, I don’t make it like that, I make it in random white papers and make it with different colors. Maybe I’ll make a post on how I schedule my exams! 😄
