NEVER HAVE I EVER BLOGGING EDITION

Greetings peeps!

Yo whash poopin! *took that from cardi b lol* I hope you’re all doing great!! So it’s actually been a while since I did a NHIE for the last time, it was 2 months ago like what?!

Today I’m here with the one and only GeorgieGrl whohoooooooo 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Dude, we’ve known each other for a pretty long time and I can’t believe this is just the first time we’ve collabed. 😛

She’s the guest today!! As always, she’s gonna be answering my Never Have I Ever questions by saying NEVER or HAVE and she’s gonna give an explanation to some of them of why or why she didn’t do those things. Shall we start? Yashhhhsssss

Never Have I Ever Blogging Edition with GeorgieGrl:

Never Have I Ever…

Not replied to a comment intentionally

HAVE

I have – I’ve had some pretty vicious & random hate before, as well as some really weird comments that were kinda creepy, that I have no idea how to respond to and might ignore depending on the situation. I always try to respond to a comment on my blog (unless it’s hate) as I think that if someone’s taken time out of their day to write something, it’s only fair for me to show them the same courtesy and write back. I also love to talk to my readers and via the comments section is one of the easiest ways to do that!

Liked a post you didn’t read

HAVE

I have (sorry!) – If someone follows me, I’ll always see if they have a blog themselves and show them some support by reading and liking some of their posts, the most recent of which I’ll definitely read, but I might also like a few of their less recent posts without reading all of it, if I’ve read the first bit of it & like it so far.

Comment on a post you didn’t read

NEVER

I haven’t

Wrote a hate comment

NEVER

I haven’t – there’s enough negativity on the internet & even if I don’t like or disagree with a post, I know how horrible it can feel to be on the receiving end of nasty comments online. Hate comments are completely unnecessary, no-one gains anything from them & I don’t understand why anyone thinks that they have a right to put someone else down to make themselves feel better. The internet would be a much more positive place if we all supported each other and had more respect for the people around us. 🙂

Dissed a family member on your blog

NEVER

I haven’t –I’ve been tempted to though multiple times (!) after arguments with my parents, but I just have to remind myself that any anger I feel towards them is just fuelled by the intensity of the situation. I’d feel awful if I wrote something unkind about a family member in the heat of the moment, as even though they might have done something that really annoyed me, I know that it’s just pent up tension and that it is much better to take a deep breath, relax and work together to solve the situation rather than just continuing the drama by posting about it online.

Dissed a friend on your blog

HAVE

I have – I now realize what a mistake it was & I’m really sorry for any (completely unintentional) offense caused, but a few years ago when I was going through a really rough patch with the people who were my best friends at the time, I felt really hurt by something that they said and because I wanted a way to make sense of it in my own head – I chose to write a blog post about it. I had no idea at the time that people from my school read my blog, so to cut a long story short – the friends who were the subject of it read the post and felt upset. I hadn’t mentioned them directly in any way, or said anything that could offend them (after it all blew up, I got my dad to read the post, and even he said that there wasn’t anything inflammatory there) but it was a real lesson for me to emphasize that whatever you say or do online has an impact – whether it is intentional or not. Everything is fine

between me and those people now, but I have since taken down the original post and (I think) the apology post that I put up afterwards.

Unfollowed someone

HAVE

I have – I’ve only ever unfollowed a few people, and mostly just because they commented/posted about something that made me feel uncomfortable or that I profoundly disagreed with. I unfollowed (and blocked) a blogger who was commenting really weird stuff on my posts just as a safety precaution and for my own peace of mind.

Promoted your blog on other’s posts in the comments

NEVER

I haven’t

Deleted a published post

HAVE

I have – both in the instance stated in one of the previous questions and if it’s something that I’ve looked back on a seriously cringed at!

Deleted a draft

HAVE

I have (loads!) – Whether they were too cringe to see the light of day or I couldn’t develop the idea enough to make it into a proper post, many post ideas have been discarded along the way. My current draft folder is quite full at the moment though from ideas that I half wrote when I had a really severe writer’s block, but I find it quite therapeutic to go back over my draft folder on rainy days and see if I can rework some of the ideas there.

Deleted a comment of yours

NEVER

I haven’t

Deleted someone else’s comment

HAVE

I have – only once though, quite soon after I started my blog, and only because it was from one of my friends at school who accidentally commented a bit of my personal information without realizing that anyone & everyone could see it (!).

Not done a tag/award you were tagged for

NEVER

I haven’t

Read a post and not liked it

HAVE

I have – not very often though as I’ve found that the quality of content on WordPress is very high, but sometimes if the post discusses something that I disagree with or if I didn’t really enjoy reading it/didn’t find it useful, then I won’t “like” the post.

Forgotten a password

NEVER

Not really – On the whole I’m pretty good at remembering passwords, but on the odd occasion when I can’t – I just use the “forgotten password?” link that most login pages have to fix the problem.

Forgotten a blogger’s name

NEVER

I haven’t

Called a blogger another name

NEVER

I haven’t (fortunately!)

Accidentally left your account without logging off

NEVER

I haven’t

Have envied another blogger

NEVER

Not really – There have been times when I’ve beaten myself up a bit when I’m struggling to write posts and I see other bloggers uploading good quality stuff consistently, but I’ve never been jealous of another blogger.

Final score:

HAVE: 8 NEVER: 12

Yaaaay that’s a fair amount of Haves!!! You’re a good blawger, you do well!!!! *claps and cheers*

    • Exactly, few times I’ve done that too. Sometimes they even spam with a lot of content that’s not even content, just the same pics posted like 100 time lol 😛
And thanks so much, I’m glad you liked it!!! 😀 ❤
