Recreating Kate’s Drawings!!!

Greetings peeps!

I hope you’re having an awesome day!!!! I am! So I’m really excited because today I’ll be recreating MORE blogger drawings yaaaaaaayy!!!! The last time I did it was last month.

It’s time to do it again!!!

So today I’ll be sharing some drawings I recreating from the AMAIZNG Kate @ AllTheTrinkets!!!!!! Everybody please follow her blog, she is really positive and very professional, she’s just amazing!!!! 😍

So actually she doesn’t post these drawings on her blog, I actually took them from her instagram account: @keetdoodles it’s really good!!! She’s amazingly talented! And because of that, I chose the 3 drawings I thought were easier for me to do to try to recreate them! 😅😅😅

Drawing #1:

 

This one was probably the one that took me the most to do, it’s also my favorite of the three!! I really like the gradient of the hair and the shadows of her jacket!!

The hardest thing by far was the face, I probably didn’t do it as good as the rest. Hers had the eyes like sadder and mine looked more like confused 😂😂 I’m not good at noses at all so I struggled in that one, what I’m freaking terrible at is lips, you’ll see it in the next drawing.

Also, I just noticed the fact that I didn’t draw the other girl, let’s say I only wanted to recreate the main girl.

Drawing #2:

 

This one makes me cringe just looking at it because, as I said before, I’m not good at lips 😭 😭  Just look at that, WHAT THE EFF IS THAT!!!! Also, the eyes on the original picture looked REALLY good, I was really into the shape of them *I know what that reminded you of lol* and everything, mine were kind of meh in comparison.

I think I did the braids well, I just think I should’ve done them a little bigger, she looks a little bald. I think I also did the brows too thin and straight, the other ones are much cooler! I also think the nose was probably too far away from the eyes.

Also, DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED on the shape of the face, mine looked so bad argh I just ahahauhuhuuuhhhh 😭 😭 😭

Drawing #3:

 

Aaaaaand this one was the easiest for me! I really like how it turned out, I think it looks pretty similar!!! I love the cape with the hoodie and her covered face!!!

Hers looks like younger, right? Mine looks like that same girl but like 2 years after, if you know what I mean? 😅 I think it’s because the face of Kate’s drawing is smaller and round, mine wasn’t so round.

Final thoughts:

I think I did pretty good, except for the second one and the details of the other 2. Seriously, I hate my second recreation!!!

A good thing is that she only used pencil, so I didn’t mess it up with the colors and everything, I’m talking more about the first and second one.

I had a lot of fun recreating these drawings, it took me a long time but it was totally worth it, I had a really fun day that day!!!
