I hope you’re having a great day!!!! Are you? God, still can’t believe it’s September. So today it’s time for another Never Have I Ever Blogging Edition!!! *claps and cheers*

🎂 WE’VE BEEN PLAYING NEVER HAVE I EVER FOR A YEAR!!!! 🎂

Yeah, the first Never Have I Ever I did was on September 1st 2017, I played it myself. I remember I thought people were maybe not gonna like this cause the questions required maybe too much honesty, but you guys liked it a lot! So far there are 21 Never Have I Ever Blogging edition posts, which means 20 people have participated!!!!!

Ok let’s go back to the post! Today I have with me the super sweet and talented Kate Ashley from AllTheTrinkets whohoooooooooo 🎉🎉 I’m so happy to have her here cause she’s one of the best, I swear! EVERYBODY FOLLOW HER!!!!

As always, the RULES are that she’s gonna be answering my Never Have I Ever questions by saying NEVER or HAVE and she’s gonna give an explanation to some of them of why or why she didn’t do those things.

It’s only when I feel the conversation or the thread of comments don’t need further response. So I’d just like the comment to let them know that I’ve read it 🙂 But I feel like I haven’t replied to a comment unintentionally more than intentionally because I:

1) am such a forgetful potato; and

2) thought I replied to them, but it apparently only happened in my mind. Whoops!

Liked a post you didn’t read

This was waaay back in my first or second year in blogging. I used to do it so I’d just have all the posts I wanted to read in the Liked section of the WordPress reader and binge-read them all. I don’t do this now, though. As I now read blog posts either on Bloglovin or in my feedburner app.

Commented on a post you didn’t read

NEVER!

It’s just… It doesn’t make sense, ya know? I know there are people who do this and they comment generic stuff like, “Lovely post!” with their blog links and yo, I’m all for leaving your blog links in the comment. I do that too. I just think it would make the blogger whose blog I’m commenting on happier if I engaged with them and actually read their posts and wrote thoughtful comments related to said posts. I know that makes me happy 🙂

Wrote a hate comment

Although, there was this one time when I was calling out a blogger in their comments section. But that was because they blatantly copied a post of mine, and I tried (which was very hard, not gonna lie) to say my piece about what they did as respectfully as I could. Spreading hate just isn’t my personal brand, and if I could say what I want to say with basic love and respect to the other person, no matter how much I disagree with them, why ever won’t I? 🙂

There was a commotion a few months back on Twitter about a blogger who allegedly dissed another blogger and everyone went WILD. I was quite happy to just watch the whole debacle by the sidelines. Confrontation is not my cup of tea.

Dissed a friend on your blog

I have utmost respect with my friends and even if they might be annoying, I don’t dis them on my blog. I think I may have dissed an acquaintance, though I kept their identity hidden? But it was more like rant on what they did that I don’t agree with rather than dissing them…? The verdict’s still up on this, guys.

Unfollowed someone

HAVE

People whose content I am no longer interested in, or accounts that are inactive (like my sister’s poetry blog that she made when she was in college for a creative writing class.)

Promoted your blog on other blogs in the comments

I used to join one of those blog parties. Other than that, I don’t promote a specific blog post in other blogs’ comments section.

Deleted a published post

Ah ha ha… I deleted old published posts. Lots and lots of old published posts. Though, most of my followers probably don’t know them so it’s okayyy.

Some things you start but they just don’t fit with your blog. It happens 🙂

Unless you include spam comments which newbie blogger Kate thought was a genuine comment and approved it and then had to delete it months later because it’s welcoming more spam bots into her blog.

At the moment, I’m not doing tags or awards in my blog anymore – unless they’re super awesome ones that are for a certain cause or I don’t have any more content to put in line haha

I think being jealous of someone is good to a certain degree. It motivates you to improve your own skill at something – in this case, blogging. It is when you’re going down a dark rabbit hole of hate – towards the other person and also towards yourself – that the jealousy becomes dangerous and toxic.

NEVER: 8 HAVE: 12

Yaaaaaaay Kate!!! No one has gotten 8-12, actually there’s been many people who got 12-8 though lol 😂😂 Congratulations!!!! Love your honesty!!!!
