How are y’all doing? I hope good! So as we’re all good peeps and we love school, why not talk about school when we’re not in school? Well, maybe you’re in school right now. Or me.
So I think we all agree that class presentations, no matter how prepared we get and how maybe good we may or may not be at them, we still get nervous. Pretty nervous.
So today we’re gonna talk about that!!
I’m not against class presentations, I’m just going to talk about how hard they are sometimes. I actually like seeing other people present because they take long and we do nothing lol. Nah but it’s kinda cool, I guess.
Stress During Class Presentations:
Ok so we’re NOT going to talk about how people stress when they prepare deir presentations because we all do it a different way and it depends on what you’re presenting about and what the teacher tells you. And also, this is not the point of this post. 😅
So it’s your turn to do your presentation, that piece of art you had been working on since the very last night. Just kidding, most people do that but not all peeps do it, hehe.
So you’re standing there and the teacher is writing a lil something before you start the presentation, everyone is talking and doing whatever and you’re super nervous and just wanna stop existing for 5 minutes. The teacher stops writing, tells everyone to shut up and tells you “when you’re ready”.
I mean, psh, I don’t wanna start but fine 😂😂
You start with the intro, which is every awkward cause no one really cares, maybe just the teacher.
So then you start talking about whatever you memorized and try not to mess up words or forget any little details, and obvs as much as possible you refuse to look at your script, cause once you look at it once, you start looking at it ALL THE TIME, and that’s an epic fail, so you try to remember everything. If you forgot something, no one will notice, right? Right?!
You say some words or phrases before you should have said them and you don’t know whether to go back and say it correctly or just move on. You forget certain words and try to use synonyms that don’t sounds nearly as cool, but oh well 😭 😭
There’s also parts in which you feel like you nailed it and turn so happy about it you forget what you were saying next and you
sh*t it again, why!!!!
There’s something good and bad about the fact that no one is listening to you. You feel free to say anything cause they won’t judge you, but you’re also presenting and the few times you make the effort to look at them, you see their empty dead faces and it just gets you super frustrated. It’s like presenting to high zombies 😂😂
Then you finish with the outro which is very awkward as well cause how could anyone enjoy if they didn’t listen? But however, once they hear it’s the end of the presentation they automatically start clapping, which is nice, cause it would be awful otherwise.
And then the teacher tells you things they liked about it, things you could work on, things you did you didn’t notice you did, mistakes you didn’t notice you did… those kinda things. But the effort is much appreciated. 😊 Unless you looked at the paper all the time.

And that was it, that was kind of a mix of how presentations go when you’re me or any of my classmates. I think no matter how much of an extrovert you are, you still get nervous by these things.
Share your thoughts with me!
