Greetings peeps!
How are y’all doing? I hope well!!! So yesterday I was talking to a friend about how we don’t like watching scary movies. She loves movies, like, a lot, but she’s not a fan of scary ones.
So yeah, I thought I could talk about it here, why not?
DISCLAIMER:
This post isn’t meant to offend anyone. If you like watching movies, I totally respect it, I’m just going to share my points on why I don’t like them. No one’s better than anyone for their movie preferences.
Why I don’t Watch Scary movies:
Ok so it’s pretty obvious, right? Because they’re scary. 😂
Ok guys, so this is the end of the post, hope you liked it…
Na just kidding, let’s continue.
I honestly don’t understand the people who like them, because, do they like them because they don’t get scared? Or because they like to get scared?
Actually my dad isn’t scared of most scary movies, not my mum’s case, she gets scared like me. But for instance, I have a friend who liked watching movies and gets scared as f*ck, like probably even more scared than I do, like what?
And I thought I was a masochist because I get negative thoughts a lot ON PURPOSE. 😅😅 But nope, she did beat me.
The only 2 times I watched scary movies were
- I was in grade 8 and my friends were hanging out to watch a movie on a Saturday night and they said it was a scary one, but I forgot they said so I went there and then asked them: What was the movie again? And they were like: A scary one. And then I kinda died. We all did.
- I was in grade 10 and me and my friends went to the movies to watch a movie that supposedly was thriller, not horror. Supposedly there were no ghosts, nor monsters, zombies, blah blah… But it was
f*ckingscary anyway. So we died as well.
I hope I never fall to anyone’s games again. Or just not get scared of them anymore, but the first one is more possible.
I mean, in both times it wasn’t like I couldn’t sleep at all. I did sleep. On the first time, I fell asleep easily, but I woke up in the middle of the night and then couldn’t sleep until like 2 hours later. On the second time I couldn’t make myself fall asleep until a long time later *I don’t know how long* but the good thing is I didn’t wake up until the morning. 😛
I really don’t like not being able to sleep not matter how freaking tired I am and being afraid of all these things and sweating like a pig and not getting them blankets off my face cause I’M SCARED OF THAT SH*T!
Another good thing is that I’m only scared for like 2 or 3 days, not a month or something, like other people. I’m becoming better at not thinking about that stuff.
Well, I prefer to watch a scary movie a bazillion times before watching porn. Honestly you guys go stick your camera you know were, you’re big part of the reason why a lot of men are sick @$$holes.
But that’s another topic for a post!!! 💖

Do you like scary movies? What do you like about them? Do you not like them? Why not? Do you relate to any of this? Tell meeeeeee pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
I hope you enjoyed reading this post as much as I liked making it!!! I love halloweeen though, so yeah! I hope y’all have a wonderful day/night and a beautiful week!!!!!
I had a similar experience at a friend’s house but I was 10 and I wasn’t exposed to much gore/horror and I ended up throwing up during the movie and there were other examples before that (the original IT scared me when I was 8.) Just a few bad experiences when I was young turned me off so I can really relate.
That and I find most boring.
Great post 🙂

I was 11 or 12 and had watched little to no horror before or anything with gorey deaths. I wasn’t expecting it either 🙂 Thankfully it doesn’t bother me anymore x

Personally I love horror movies, but I’ll only watch them in the cinema. I actually find it quite funny in the cinema, everyone’s scared & it doesn’t feel very real. I can’t watch them in my house though – I’m way too scared to bring horror into my life like that haha! Great post X

Really? Yeah omg it doesn’t feel so bad in the cinema, the worst part is at home lol 😛
And yeah, watching them in houses must be awful, thank god I never watched them at home 😛 😀
Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuu
P.S. I’m so so so sorry for the late reply 😦

Tbh I’d rather watch porn than a scary movie! I don’t understand why people think it’s fun to scare oneself voluntarily. There are so many more enjoyable genres of movies out there.

Really? Omg I never thought I’d know anyone who would admit it!!!! 😮 That’s amazing!
Yeah omg, why would people wanna stress themselves like that? Not sleeping and sweating all night? No thanks!
Exactly, why chose scary movies when you have other genres?

I also don’t like watching scary movies but not because i get scared, but because i DO NOT get scared and I always find it boring 😅 Like, my classmates LOVE watching horror movies and freak out and all that while my face is completely blank, as in: 😐. I don’t know why tho?!?! 😂 I just kind of predict that a scary scene will come up so I don’t get surprised anymore but when I DO get surprised, i freaking laugh at the screen 😂 Idk, maybe there’s something wrong with me?? 😆 lol
Yeah, i’m not really scared of horror movies, but gurl I get SUPER scared of my own imagination, thinking that there could be a ghost to scare me whenever they want to IRL 👻😱 so yeah, reality’s way more scary than movies for me 😂 Great post – I enjoyed reading this!!! 😀 xxx

You find them BORING? What? Like, what? I’ve never met anyone who’s ever said that, you’re the first. 😛
Yeah omg like I can predict something horrible might happen, but I still get scared, what? You don’t get scared? You’re impressing me so much right now!
There’s nothing wrong with you, you’r actually lucky, really lucky!!!!!
And yasssssssss omg I usually would get scared of real life too. But in the past 4 years or so I haven’t got scared a lot about like seeing a ghost or something lol 😛
Thank you so much!!!! I’m so happy you enjoyed!!!!!! 😀 ❤

Let me explain 😂 When you watch horror films, there’s barely even scenes that are actually frightening – it just comes up several times and then that’s it 😂 i mean, i think i’m somewhat different 😂😆 yeah me too! but when someone just passed away, i always think that they’ll come and visit me and that would be SUPER scary. And then i get over it after a month 😂 Love this post a lot again! (Do more posts like this!!! 💖)

Tbh I like scary movies, and I always look for one to watch because I ACTUALLY WANT TO GET SCARED. I can’t even remember the last time one actually scared me, or it wasn’t so predictably done. So I’m always curious to see if the next one that comes about has something new to offer as well as scaring me
